1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Social at ourcloudspace.net ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. The Service is operated in the United States.

3. Account Registration

Access to Social is by invitation and approval only. All registration applications are reviewed and approved or denied at the sole discretion of the administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal under United States law
• Upload or share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this will result in immediate removal and reporting to authorities
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Service for commercial purposes, advertising, or spam
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers without administrator permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or server infrastructure
• Share content promoting violence, hate speech, or discrimination

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you post to Social. By posting content, you grant the Service a non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute your content to other approved members and, where applicable, to federated servers via the ActivityPub protocol.

6. Federation

Social uses the ActivityPub protocol and may federate with other compatible servers (such as Mastodon, Pixelfed, and others). Content you post may be shared with users on other federated servers according to your privacy settings. The administrator may limit or disable federation at any time.

7. Termination

The administrator reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. This includes but is not limited to violations of these terms or conduct deemed harmful to the community.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. This is a non-commercial, privately operated service. The administrator makes no guarantees regarding uptime, data preservation, or availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the administrator and operator of Social shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated to users when possible.
